GPvD heraldry

The degrees as practiced by Pilgrim Preceptory No 5 on the roll of the Great Priory of Germany are: a. Knight of the Temple (Knight Templar); b. Knight of St Paul or Mediterranean Pass; c. Knight of Malta.

The dress of the Order is a white mantle with a red cross Pateé fixed below the left shoulder and a white tunic with a Latin cross in red the full length of the front. The cap, sash, cross, star, black gloves, belt and sword complete the most impressive Regalia based on the costume of the medieval counterparts.

Qualification: A candidate for Installation into Knighthood must be of the Christian faith, a Master Mason and a Royal Arch Mason. Each candidate for the Order of Malta must have first been received into the Order of the Temple.
